This has been the first full week living in our new place. It has been great to have our own space again, but there is lots to work on.
I've slowly started painting. Everything is slowly getting organized. It's all the little things that take serious time...certain things just need a junk drawer that's all I'm sayin. Amaya is adjusting easily. Hanging out with her all day has been great, but I have to remind myself to stay busy! Otherwise, at the end of the day I feel like poop.
I spent last weekend in Houston with my LOVELY sisters. It was so nice to sit and talk with them. I'm not a girly chatty kinda girl, but with my sisters it's pretty easy. We went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. That place is still so magical to me. I love it growing up and I love it still. There is a new paleontology exhibit that is SWEET and the entire section of precious jewels is a girls dream. We also got to see the Titanic exhibit that had real artifacts from the ship. This year is the 100th anniversary of the sinking. It was fascinating, but kind of depressing. The story of the Titanic is so mysterious and romantic, but it really is just tragedy. At the start of the tour they told us we weren't allowed to take pictures and there was super high security (alarms were going off the entire time because people got to close to the display boxes)...so that's why no pictures!
By the end of the day the baby's were pretty exhausted...
Anyways...we also don't have wireless yet- A situation I will not presently address because it infuriates me. In other news Amaya is having her first play-date! This cute little guy is a sweety!
